Does Peppa Pig Cause Autism?

On October 20 2016 the website Morning News USA published a story that reported a popular children's TV character called Peppa Pig caused kids to develop autism. How? By inspiring them to imitate the cartoon character's disrespectful attitude toward authority. Even more ridiculous was the fact that Harvard researchers had the strange boldness to publish the result of an experiment they conducted in 2012; it stated that watching Peppa Pig was one of the main causes of autism in children. You would think staff at Harvard would have better judgment and more sense not to publish such laughable results.

Glyphosate Herbicide Will Cause Half of All Children to Have Autism by 2025

Although the author of this article ranks low in her credibility in the scientific world, with her advanced degrees in computer science and electrical engineering, her dark predication is still scary. Imagine, with 4 million babies being born each year in the US, two million would have autism. Imagine the skyrocketing costs for caring for their special needs. Are we headed in that direction where we'll see half of our children with autism? Is autism the new plague from God, punishing us all for our collectively immoral behavior? Neuroplasticity Can Cure Autism of Your Child

Since the human brain is highly plastic, the brain of an autistic child can change and become stronger, capable of learning and overcoming limits in fantastic ways. The brain as an information system, organizes all of our thoughts, emotions, and movements. The brain's job is to create order in the day-to-day confusion and convert the constant onslaught of stimulation into useful information. The brains of autistic kids seem to have a hard time in organizing actions and perceptions and making sense of both themselves and the world. But with effort and right guidance the autistic child can learn to distinguish sounds and other stimuli in time. Treating Aggression in Autism

The drug risperidone was FDA-approved for treating aggressive behavior in autistic children. But bear in mind that while you may succeed in reducing that aggressiveness, your child may experience many unfavorable side effects such as dizziness, tiredness, drowsiness, twitching, agitation, depression, upset stomach, dry mouth, constipation, weight gain, sore throat, and others. Enema Cures Autism?

What is an enema? It's an injection that permits fluids to enter via the rectum through a tube and pump. Enemas are commonly used to solve constipation problems and cleanse the bowel. A treatment called CD (Chloride Dioxide) or MMS(Master Miracle Solution), is administered either orally or through an enema. But does either cure autism? The sad answer is no. Spontaneous Gene Mutations Cause Autism

There's now the theory that gene mutations are causing autism. A paper was published in the Journal Cell where research reveals that an enzyme named UBE3A could be turned off when a phosphate molecule is tacked onto UBE3A. In neurons and during brain development, this switch may be turned either off or on, which leads to rather tight regulation of UBE3A. A research team discovered that an autism-connected mutation harms this regulatory switch. As a result of the destruction of the switch, that causes an enzyme's inability to be turned off, UBE3A gets hyperactive and fuels abnormal brain development and autism.
